There are a number of ways you can qualify for membership and join Crane including:
- If someone in your immediate family* is already a member of Crane Credit Union.
- If you live or work on at least one of twenty-seven Indiana counties.**
- If you work at or belong to one of our Select Employee Groups (SEGs). Or, if someone in your immediate family works or belongs to one of our SEGS.
A credit union serves people within its field of membership, as granted by the National Credit Union Administration. Crane Credit Union is not-for-profit and owned by its members. This allows us to offer better rates, low-to-no cost services and a stronger, more personal relationship between members and staff. We value our members and strive to provide the financial products and services they deserve.
Joining Crane requires opening a savings account with a minimum balance of $5.00. Once you become a member, you are always a member, as long as you remain in good standing and maintain an active $5.00 savings account.
*Immediate family is defined as spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, step-parent, step-child, step-sibling and adoptive relationships.
