Credit union members often refer to better rates and low fees as their reasons for joining a credit union. Joining Crane is easy and requires only a savings account with a minimum opening balance of $5.00. There are two ways you can qualify for membership.
If someone in your immediately family is already a member of Crane, then you can join. Immediate family members include a spouse, child, sibling, parent, grandparent, grandchild, step-parent, step-child, step-sibling, or adoptive relationships.
Or, if you live or work in one of these 27 counties in Central and Southern Indiana, you are also eligible to join. This includes large communities such as Bloomington, Evansville, Franklin, Plainfield, and Terre Haute with credit union branch locations.
