Crane Credit Union reported a strong first quarter to open 2019. Membership increased 2.37% over the previous quarter to 50,881 members. In addition, Credit Union assets increased to $620,625,178. This is an increase of 5.89% from the previous quarter and an 11.07% increase over the past 12 months.

In 2018, Crane was recognized by Forbes as one of the Best In State credit unions in Indiana. Credit unions were recognized for their strengths in trustworthiness, digital services, financial advice, branch services, and general satisfaction. “It’s a credit to the wonderful, dedicated staff that care of our members every day,” said Kevin Sparks, Crane Credit Union President and CEO.

Crane Credit Union began operating in 1955 serving members from one branch location on NSA (Naval Support Activity) Crane Base. The Credit Union now serves nearly 51,000 members in central and southern Indiana with 14 branch locations.
