Crane Credit Union President/CEO Bob Downs has retired after a 29-year career at the Credit Union.

During his tenure, Downs lead the Credit Union through many objectives including two mergers and a conversion from a federal to a state charter. Most notably, the Credit Union grew from $48 million in assets in 1988 to $558 million when he retired. The Credit Union also went from having only one branch facility to 14 branches across central and southern Indiana.

Crane Credit Union has promoted Kevin Sparks to President/Chief Executive Officer. Sparks has over 20 years of experience in the financial services industry. He joined Crane Credit Union in 2004.

Crane Credit Union began operating in 1955 serving members from one branch location on NSA (Naval Support Activity) Crane Base. The Credit Union now serves over 46,000 members in central and southern Indiana with 14 branch locations.
